V4+Armenia, EaP/Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus/: Enhancing Intercultural Dialogue in COVID-19 Pandemic

The Kid's Eye Art Association (Hungary) is committed to help as many children - whether living in families or in homes - as possible to express their feelings and thoughts through the medium of film. Apart from teaching kids film making skills, it organises film making groups, summer camps, as well as festivals where interested visitors can view films by children from Hungary and other countries.

JUNIORFEST (the Czech Republic) throughout its activity has been actively promoting European (Czech) film production among children/youth that is not always available in the domestic commercial film distribution.

Through the contemporary artists Art Fabrika develops an art perception in our students through themselves and through their natural talent. Our courses of drawing, painting and graphic offer an artistic self-fulfilment for all students, beginners or advanced, of all ages. Art Fabrika leads them from the basis through various techniques to a full understanding to the magic of art.

Activities of the HumanDoc Foundation (Poland) and the Festivalare aimed at building and raising the social awareness about integration, developing contact/cooperation between communities to support imparting knowledge, values, developing skills through organizing cultural/education events (festivals, meetings, workshops, etc.).

International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino! (Poland) throughout its activity has been actively educating children/youth, presenting global and local (Polish) film selection, collecting rich experience and acting as a family.

Association of Slovak Film Clubs (ASFK) (Slovakia) is the organizer of the 2 biggest traveling Festivals in Slovakia-International Film, TV and Video Tour FEBIOFEST and PROJEKT 100, which support promotion of Slovak films among wider audiences.

Super film is an independent production company based in Bratislava and founded in 2015 by Simona Hrušovská and Veronika Kocourková. Super film is mainly focused on animated and educational film projects for children and young adults.

Archimera aims to develop and support the architectural scene and approach architecture to public by organizing expositions and events, to crate and enhance networks by entering interdisciplinary projects and by support mobility and exchanges.

The National Palace is a cultural and educational center with a history of 79 years. For young people aged 6-26, this is a place for extracurricular, extracurricular activities. It is a leading non-formal education organization that serves the wise use of free time and the pursuit of extracurricular education.

KROK International Film Festival is one of the best animation film festivals in the CIS. Year after year it broadens its geography and the number of attendees. In the frames of the Festival workshops, master classes, premieres, creative meetings are held with professional cinematographers from all over the world.

Illusion Films is a production company created in 1996 by famous director, scriptwriter, producer Roman Balaian (Laureate of the USSR State Prize, People's Artist of Ukraine) who has extensive experience of conducting master classes, discussions, etc. with young cinematographers, art professionals.

The national film studio Belarusfilm is a leading enterprise in the film industry of Belarus. Over the years, more than 650 feature films, about 2,000 documentaries and more than 200 animated films have been released here. Films released at the film studios are included in the Golden Fund of world cinema

 

 

Project Description

 

The project aims to provide necessary conditions to enhance/deepen intercultural dialogue between V4-RA-EaP/Georgia, for the first time Ukraine, Belarus/ considering COVID-19 situation through Innovative Methods/digital events/ for recognizing V4 among maximally large audiences using 16th Rolan IFF for Children/Youth as a powerful platform.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES IN ARMENIA:

· "V4 Film screenings" (online/offline film screenings),

· Webinars (online master classes, discussions) in specialised universities/institutions, schools, etc.,

· New Competitive Nomination "Best Visegrad Film",

· Exhibition/Contest "V4 through the eyes of children from Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine",

· Exhibition "We will Win COVID-19 Together",

· Press conference,

· Meetings with mass media.

One of the priorities of the Gombolyag Foundation (Hungary) is the promotion of art and culture among children and youth and the aim of the BUSHO Film Festival is development of cultural identity by motivating young filmmakers to common activities.
